Our first Temp of the Month award for 2012 has been awarded to Geraldine. Geraldine has been temping for us since August; a role that was initially for a few weeks and has since been extended on a number of occasions. The feedback we have received on Geraldine is: “Geraldine has been an absolute star for us since joining our team.. She was thrown in at the deep end on day one and we have been giving her unexpected challenges ever since which she deals with efficiently and enthusiastically without getting flustered. She always goes the extra mile to get things done and is prepared to work late and be flexible in her approach to ensure tasks are completed. She is well liked by staff and managers and we would be well and truly lost without her!” Well done Geraldine and thank you so much for all your hard work!
Our final Temp of the Month award for 2011 has been awarded to Media Adib. Media has been temping for us since October and in this time has been such a pleasure to deal with as well as impressing her manager. The feedback we have received on Media: "Media has demonstrated many of the Performance Behaviours in her short time here. She has earned trust, by delivering on her promises to internal and external customers. Media’s attitude has been fantastic, she is enthusiastic and willing to listen and learn. She has also been extremely flexible, helping all those who need it after originally starting in the Pharma team, Media has assisted with the Back Office workload and both the Front Office Teams." Well done Media and thank you for all your hard work!
Our Temp of the Month award for November has been awarded to Tanya Dews. Tanya has completed various temporary assignments for us over the past 8 months consistently receiving excellent feedback. She has proven herself to be flexible hardworking and dedicated. The feedback we have received on Tanya includes: “I have been most impressed with Tanya, since she started temping with us this year. She is my “go to lady” as she has always displayed the utmost professionalism and willingness to all levels of staff and management. She is punctual, friendly and approachable. Tanya is very confident in all the tasks and challenges she undertakes. She is easy to talk to, happy to learn and always a pleasure to work alongside. She would be an asset to any company, and has been a massive support to me, the Office Management team and the Corporate department. She thoroughly deserves to win this award and be recognised for being a wonderful member of the temp team!” Thank you Tanya!
Our Temp of the Month for October was another very deserving winner - Josh. Josh has been in his current role since January 2011; throughout which time he has continued to impress his managers. The feedback on Josh was as follows: “Josh is an excellent member of staff, who fully engages with our customers and delivers excellent customer service. He is a great character and his sense of humour helps get him and the team with whom he works though very busy and sometimes frantic days. Josh is a real asset to the team and a great guy to work with. He thoroughly deserves this nomination”
We would like to congratulate Emma McKibbin for receiving Temp of the Month for September — she has been in her current booking since March and we have received numerous comments on her hard work and diligence. The most recent feedback we received on Emma was “Emma is hard working, punctual and reliable with an excellent attitude and understanding. Emma is a flexible employee and has often been on her lunch break and has still answered the phones and helped with any queries.”
We received a large number of nominations this month; so many thanks to all of you who have been working hard and impressing your managers. Our Temp of the Month award for August has been awarded to Scott Stancill. We have received great feedback from every role we have put Scott into including “He fits in really well; a perfect addition to the team”, “Really nice candidate; picked up everything really quickly” and “Scott is amazing” with his current role saying “We are so pleased with Scott, His attitude is second to none and he has been great to have around the support team. He has been thrown in the deep end somewhat and has coped tremendously well. Thanks very much again for sending us such a top candidate.” We at Prize Placements would also like to add a special thank you as Scott has been a genuinely fantastic temp – he is always at work, always on time and performs everything to a high standard, he has been flexible, accommodating, dropped things at the last minute to go into a role and even worked weekends! Our Temp of the Month award for July has been awarded to Alana Wilde. The fantastic feedback we have received on Alana is; “I have been most impressed with Alana, since she started work with us back in March 2011. She has always displayed the utmost professionalism and willingness to all levels of staff and management. I couldn’t think of one person here who has not said a good word about her. She is punctual, smartly dressed, friendly and approachable. Alana is very confident in most tasks and challenges she undertakes, and even when she is not sure she finds a way. She is easy to talk to, happy to learn and always a pleasure to work alongside. She is an asset to any company, and has been a backbone to me, the Office Management team and the Corporate department. I will be very sad when she leaves us end August/ early September, but I would happily have her back any time, even if just to temp during her summer holidays at University.” Congratulations Alana and thank you for all your hard work!!
Our Temp of the Month award for May has been awarded to Sarah Wayne. Sarah has been working for us since January 2011; a role that was initially for 2 weeks but has been repeatedly extended due to her hard work and great attitude. The feedback on Sarah was; “Sarah has such a positive attitude every day. She is always smiling and creates a great atmosphere around her. She is flexible with her working hours to suit us as a company and is always happy to take on any responsibility she is given.” Congratulations Sarah and thank you for all your hard work!!
Our Temp of the Month for April has been awarded to Clare Anderson. Clare has been working for us since December 2010 in various roles and has always received outstanding feedback, she has proven to be a hardworking and reliable temp! The feedback on Clare has included; “Although Clare has only been with us for a short time she has proved to be so good that I was already using her as my unofficial deputy. I shall be really sorry to see her go.” Clare has now finished her temporary assignment to go travelling — Good luck on your travels Clare, you’ll be sorely missed!
Our Temp of the Month award for March has been awarded to Donna Clarkson. Donna has been working for us since May 2010 and has been nominated for Temp of the Month on a few occasions. The feedback on Donna has included; “Donna is a real asset to the team. She provides quality service to our customers and is a great support to her colleagues. She arrives before her official starting time each day, approaches her work in a very flexible way and is willing to go the extra mile to achieve the best possible outcome for both the customer and the company” “Donna has worked for this section for almost a year, her attendance, attitude, punctuality and flexibility is outstanding! Donna is very conscientious and has a wicked sense of humour. We love her to bits!!”
Our Temp of the Month award for February has been awarded to Lauren Miller. Lauren started in her current assignment on a six-week contract; due to her outstanding performance this has since been extended for a further three months. Lauren’s manager has said that … "We cannot do without her. Just give Lauren a manual and she can deliver data input at a remarkable rate. She is able to adapt to the daily challenges presented and has a memory like an elephant. She recalls data & information so easily without looking it up. A great support to our centre. I wish we could keep her!" Congratulations Lauren and thank you for all your hard work!!
Our Temp of the Month award for January has been awarded to Becky Chapple. Becky has been nominated for Temp of the Month on numerous occasions. Feedback on Becky ... "Becky is the best temp I have ever had in 24 years of social work. She is a mine of information, helpful, friendly, highly competent hardworking, reliable and an excellent team member" "Becky always rises to a challenge, is flexible, hands on and helpful to all staff. Her IT knowledge is brilliant as is her ability to produce all manner of documents to a very high standard" and "...able to deal with a variety of complex tasks on request and develop the newly created admin systems. Excellent ‘can do’ attitude and competent personality!" As you can see a VERY deserving winner for this month. Congratulations Becky and thank you for all your hard work!!
Our Temp of the Month award for November/December has been awarded to Maddy Hahn. Maddy has completed various temporary assignments for us always receiving outstanding feedback. Maddy made a fantastic impression in her most recent booking, receiving the following feedback... “We have had a few temps but Maddy 100% stands out! She often works past her finish time to ensure that all tasks are complete; she never leaves half a job, is always busy and just gets on with things. Maddy picked up the key components of the role overnight and always delivers a great standard! She handles all situations well, like a true member of staff, even being willing to cover shifts for other members of staff at short notice with no complaints. Her attitude is amazing, definitely committed to the team! A genuine star!” Thank you Maddy for all your hard work and dedication.
Our Temp of the Month award for October has been awarded to Rebecca Lamb. Rebecca has been working for us since June 2009 and has impressed her employers with her consistent hard work and dedication... “I would like to nominate Rebecca for temp of the month because of the hard work and initiative which she displays. Nothing is too much for her and she is willing to cover any work which will reduce the workload within the section. She is a good team member and again willing to assist any of her colleagues if needed. This award is well deserved and I am pleased to be able to give her that recognition. A very big thank you from the team”
Our Temp of the Month award for September has been awarded to Tone Kjelbotn. Tone has been working for us since June and has impressed her employers every week with her consistent hard work and dedication.. “Tone is a hard worker and always makes sure the job is done. She is flexible and does not complain. Tone stays late when the workload is high and always offers to take on extra work when needed. She is comfortable working outside of her comfort zone and never afraid to ask but also very independent. Overall a very pleasant & reliable colleague to work with!” In addition to this excellent feedback, we at Prize Placements would like to thank Tone, she is always friendly and polite, keeps us updated on everything and always gets her timesheet over to us on time. So we would like to say a massive thank you to Tone for all her hard work, and consistent effort in the role. Well done Tone!! We would also like to give a special mention to Katy Saunders who was also nominated this month, Katy’s manager has stated that…... “Katy has been excellent over the past couple of months, nothing is too much trouble for her, she works very well in our team of staff. Our Temp of the Month award for August has been awarded to Catherine Bame. Catherine has recently completed a number of temporary bookings for us, all of which we have received absolutely outstanding feedback on. “Catherine is an articulate, well mannered, conscientious and hard working candidate. She is confident and extremely well presented; throughout her time working for us Catherine has shown a willingness to take on new challenges and has greeted every task with enthusiasm. She is highly competent and reliable and we would have no hesitation in hiring her for future roles“ One client even stated that Catherine was “the best temp they’ve ever had”. So we would like to say a massive thank you to Catherine for all her hard work, and putting 100% into every role she completes. Well done Catherine!!
July temp of the month has been awarded to Caroline Rice. Caroline is a long-standing ‘Prize Placements’ temp having been in her current role for almost 2 years now. She is friendly and reliable and we at Prize would also like to thank Caroline for her continuing hard work and dedication. Caroline was nominated by a colleague who felt that she had gone above and beyond her responsibilities; the feedback was as follows; “Caroline has impressed the Team with her very friendly, professional “can do” manner; we recently made changes to security procedures meaning a large amount of reception management was very much under the ownership of Caroline, a task which she has taken on board with confidence. Maintaining such a high level of front of house Security whilst preserving the company ethos is no easy duty and for this reason Caroline absolutely deserves recognition. I have been approached by many members of our company visiting from across the globe who have commented on the very simplistic way that any issue and/or request has been dealt with by Caroline and for this we applaud her efforts. We would like very much to say a big “thank you” to Caroline!”
June temp of the month has been awarded to Daisy Duncan Smith. Daisy was nominated for her "creativity, eye for detail and the ability to handle just about everything asked of her. The quality of her work is excellent and she is able to juggle priorities with ease. She is popular and a great addition to the team!!" Well done Daisy!! Also nominated this month and deserving of a special mention are the following: Samantha Hayter: - "a 'can do' person, very flexible and helpful. A hard worker who gets on with the job. She never complains and always keeps herself busy" Jude King: - "an extremely helpful and conscientious member of the team and one who can be totally relied on to do a thorough job whatever the task is. Jude is a star" Sarah Rogers: - "professional, friendly, flexible and liked by staff. Happy to do anything asked of her" Clarissa McPhee: - "demonstrates enthusiasm, understanding and ability to work in the office environment. Clarissa ensures that work is completed to a high level." Becky Chapple: - "Becky always rises to a challenge, is flexible, hands on & helpful to all staff. Her I.T knowledge is brilliant as is her ability to produce all manner of documents as and when needed to a very high standard."
May temp of the month has been awarded to David Chapple. David has been a very loyal temp for years and has previously been nominated for “temp of the month”. David was nominated for being “extremely helpful. Any member of the team can ask for his assistance and he is always flexible and willing to take on work. He has a great sense of humour and is a real asset to the team” Well done David!!
April has once again been a fantastic month for temp of the month. Thank you once again for all your hard work this month, yet again we have received some fantastic feedback from your managers. This month’s temp of the month has been awarded to Jo Cattermole for “Adding value to the team and the organisation. She can be depended upon; works well with her team and is the focal point for a busy social work team. She is quick to learn and takes on tasks above her level. Jo is an amazing asset!” It is lovely to hear such great comments and we can’t wait to receive more great feedback next month!!
March has been a fantastic month for temp of the month so a massive well done to everyone that has gone above and beyond their duties. It was a tough decision but we are very happy to award this month’s “Temp of the Month” to Katie Brenan for her “Excellent office skills, and professional approach to her work, she asserts herself over and above requirements using her initiative to resolve ongoing issues and assisting other colleagues. She has a lovely sparkling persona and many creative attributes which she has shared with us”. We also want to thank the following Star temps for all their hard work: Sam Hayter for pulling out all the stops when other members of staff were off and always having a smile on her face. Claire Lucas for being hard working and a great team member. Tina Whyte for being punctual and flexible, readily assisting when other members were absent and providing a great service to clients. This month Prize Placements would also like to thank Yana Goutsal for always making herself available and handling every booking to the highest standard. Thank you!
February's temp of the month was a tough choice between two very impressive candidates - Sally Lister and Christian Grajozonek! On this occasion, we have decided to award the title to Sally Lister for her "hard work" and "very helpful attitude". Well done Sally!! However, we would also like to mention Christian and thank him for 'putting 100% into everything he is asked to do".
For January, our winner was Susanna Myers and this is what our client had to say about her: “Susanna has been fantastically helpful, both in her original booking in the personnel department and now in the club office. Her attitude and personality are great. She is willing to help with any and everything, with the fastest typing I’ve seen in ages.
